My beloved mountains
This is the reason we go to Estes Park every year...
Long's Peak as seen from the Safeway parking lot
The town sits at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Can you imagine waking up every morning to that view? The air is so clean and dry, and crisp in late summer.
My heart is in those mountains, and I leave a little bit of myself behind every time we leave there.

Very pretty! Have a great vacation!
So jealous! We used to go up to Estes Park all the time when we lived in Boulder.
Did you miss out on the Secret of the Stole III? When the pattern is released for sale in October, you will understand why I am asking.

So pretty and peaceful! No wonder you love it so much.
Oh, WOW. That is absolutely stunning!
This I TOTALLY understand. I'm a mountain girl born and bred. The seashore and I still don't get along.
